Starting your Weigh-In

For FREE APP users only:

1. Press the 'Start Weigh-In' Button:

Starting your Weigh-In

For LOGGED-IN APP users only:

In an ideal world, you will have used MatchDraw™ to create your draw sheet, so now your weigh-in process will be smooth sailing. You can simply enter the match code given to you during the draw process, and the system will then prompt you to enter a match weight for each angler present on the draw sheet.

If however, you didn't create a peg sheet using MatchDraw™, you may still continue to complete what is called a 'manual' weigh-in (without looking up a MatchDraw™).

2. If you do not enter a match code, and try to proceed, it will warn you that you're about to enter weigh-in data manually, with no information pulled from your pre-determined draw sheet:

3. You should only proceed with entering weigh-in data manually IF you do not have a match code from your MatchDraw™! Otherwise, you should enter that code before continuing!

Draw Mode

• Automatic Mode assigns pegs randomly once all anglers are entered Having your pegs assigned automatically, without any frills or animations; simply enter every anglers' name, and then they'll instantly be allocated a peg number. Just like clockwork magic!
• Live Draw Mode recreates a real-world lottery-style experience, with each angler taking their turn to draw a peg If you're running an in-person angling match peg draw, we would recommend using Live Draw. This creates a visual simulation of the peg pool, and each angler can randomly come up to the device and tap the "Draw Peg" button to receive their peg allocation. Upon drawing a peg, anglers must enter their name to confirm that they have acknowledged the peg drawn. This will then move the process on and allow the next angler to draw their peg. Please Note: The visual animation has no impact on the randomness of the draw.

Sections

• Straight Sections assigns anglers to sections every X number of pegs drawn. This is an easy way of organising your anglers' pegs into sections or legs. In Straight section mode; you simply specify the size of the sections you would like. For example, if you specify every 5 pegs as your section size; then pegs 1-5 will be section A, pegs 6-10 will be section B, pegs 11-15 will be section C, and so on.
• Distributed Sections spreads anglers in a distributed pattern, i.e. A, B, C, D. Unlike standard straight sections, Distributed Sections focus on ensuring a truly even distribution across your match venue, rather than simply grouping pegs together. You decide on the total number of sections you want, and the system then assigns anglers to these sections in a rotating, regimented pattern (like A, B, C, D, A, B, C, D, and so on). This means that instead of all "Section A" anglers being side-by-side, they'll be spaced out, providing a fairer and more balanced competition across the entire venue. This would be a fair way of running 'mini-heat style' sections.
• Custom Sections allows you to manually allocate your own sections. Once the draw has taken place; you can manually allocate the sections for each peg drawn.
• Interclub Sections to host fairer competitions between angling clubs, fisheries or teams. Enter the names of all teams taking part. Each team will be given a shuffled, random coloured envelope. Unseal, and open each envelope to reveal the pegs allocated to each team. Pegs are allocated in a round-robin fashion ensuring even distribution of team match anglers and a fairer competition.

Audio Controls

We understand that not everone enjoys obnoxious sounds which they cannot mute! That's why we made it really easy for you to control the volume of each individual sound yourself.

To customise the volumes for individual sound(s)...

For Desktop PC and Android Users:

1. Open the 'Settings' Menu:

For iOS (iPhone / iPad) Users:

2. Toggle to enable or mute each sound to suit your preferences.

Generating & Sharing .PDF

Our favourite feature is how easy it is to share and save your MatchWeigh™ result as a .PDF once it has been generated!

1. Click 'Generate/Download PDF' to create it:

2. This will then generate a .PDF which is stored on our servers, and generate a shareable link which you can provide to your anglers.

Please Note: Your .PDFs are only stored on our server for up to 3 days, so please save a copy of them if you require them for future-proofing. Please do not rely on draw sheets existing beyond this time frame.

3. You will then have the option to share your generated .PDF. There are also options to share it via Facebook or Twitter. (However, please note that links expire after 3 days and carry an appropriate notice on your posts)
4. To ensure that your anglers and spectators are able to view the MatchWeigh™ Sheet, please ensure you provide them with the correct Reference, ID or CODE.

Find an Existing MatchDraw™ Sheet

At the start of creating your MatchDraw™, or if you generate a PDF version of your Peg Sheet, you will receive a 6 DIGIT UNIQUE CODE to share.

This is your MatchDraw™ Sheet REFERENCE, or ID, or CODE. It will look something like this:

1. Locate your unique 'MatchDraw™ Sheet Reference/ID' here (or ask your match organiser for it!):

2. This is your unique reference.
3. To access an existing MatchDraw™ Sheet using a unique Reference or ID:
4. Navigate to: https://draw.erbangling.club/CODE

5. Enter the unique reference here.

Login to Your Account

Please Note: This is only available to ERB Angling.

If you log-in to your Fishing Manager Admin account prior to starting your weigh-in, you will be able to quickly and easily use the match code lookup function to pull your draw sheet data into the system; where it will then prompt you to enter a weight for each angler on the peg sheet one by one (instead of having to type angler names manually!).

3. The previously hidden and inaccessible features are now visible after entering a match code and trying to complete a weigh in, as seen below:

Offline Protection - In case of no internet!

Please Note: This feature is enabled for ALL users.

Due to the nature of angling, we understand that some matches may take place in remote locations where internet service or network coverage is non-existent, or at best intermittent.

That's why we've taken extra measures to ensure that this weigh-in system works even when your connection drops!

You can continue with the weigh in process, with the peace of mind that as and when your internet connection is restored, the system will automatically continue from where it left off and attempt to publish your results.

For as long as your service is down, results will be saved locally to your device in your local storage. They will only be removed from local storage once they are confirmed as uploaded to the database.

Please Note: We would always recommend that match organisers take a paper-based record of their match result in case of the rare possibility of any technical, network or battery issues. It may be a good idea to take regular screenshots of each weigh-in (so that in the event of an emergency - no results are lost).

Whilst our system is coded with the expectation that internet coverage will be patchy, we cannot account for all technical mishaps that may occur as a result of external factors (such as lack of disk space on the server). You should at least rest assured that your results will be saved to the local storage on your device and your device will continue to attempt to upload them to our server until it is successful.

Expiration Policy

Your generated MatchWeigh™ Sheets will ONLY be stored on our servers for a period up to 3 Days if you click the 'Generate PDF' or 'Download PDF' buttons.

Please Note: if you DO NOT click 'Download PDF' or 'Generate PDF' your MatchWeigh™ will NOT be saved to our server and we will respect your privacy!

We have absolutely no way of recovering, viewing or accessing the Match Sheets for any draws which are not saved as .PDFs to our server. They will be lost forever.

Unfortunately, we are unable to delete already processed and uploaded MatchWeigh™ Sheets prior to their default expiration. Please allow 3 days to pass and the Match Sheet will no longer be accessible via it's original link; and will be deleted from our servers.

Similarly, we are also unable to extend the storage of your MatchWeigh™ Sheets. Due to the nature of how many Match Sheets our website processes, it would be unfeasible for us to store them for a longer period than this. If you require your Match Sheet to be publicly accessibly after this elapsed period, we would recommend that you download a copy and upload it to your own website or data sharing service.

Please Note: We reserve the right to purge our existing MatchWeigh™ PDF database at any moment, without warning. Also, we may at a later time review our minimum / maximum expiry policy duration. We may increase or reduce this without notice.

MatchLive™ - LIVE SYNC

All match anglers and spectators may visit: https://live.erbangling.club Where they'll be able to join a match room (using the unique code provided to you) in order to follow all match updates — without having to leave their peg!

They'll be able to see every peg draw and weigh-in, in real-time, as it happens!

Then, at the end of your match, viewers will be able to see the provisional results table generated instantly!
